Hi Witchy, how are you?

Yeah I know but Indian breakfasts can be really heavy and I think I'm full now for the rest of the day lol. We made four different dishes although my mom only ate a lil bit after cooking all of it with me. She makes huge meals and expects us to stuff ourselves but she eats like a bird lol

Do you have several hours? lol There are so many different dishes and styles of cuisine in Indian cooking that I could spend days describing it. We're from the South of India ourselves, and South cooking is different from North cooking, and regions within each can be vastly different from each other even if they're in the same state. There are hundreds upon hundreds of different kinds of cooking and it's great cause that means a lot of variety.

One of my faves is this dish called a dosa, it's basically a crispy-fried pancake that can be made in many different ways, either plain or with onions, with tomatoes, etc, and inside you put this kind of potato, not quite like mashed potatoes but that's as close as I can describe it, and you can make it spicy... you can eat the dosa like that or by tearing off chunks and dipping in chutney. We made that today.

I love Indian food... just don't get to have it too often. Though there are some very good places to eat here in Rochester. When I was younger I was always attracted to red heads and Indian girls (from India)... maybe cause they were exotic looking. (that was probably too much information, heh?)

Well,... now you have made me hungry for some good Indian food.
